Wales

We left for Wales this afternoon! Our group of 6 (Me, Sarah, Jennifer, Kelly, Brent, and Josh) walked to the train station and our train left at 4:30 pm. It was about a 5-hour trip, and we had to switch trains twice, which meant we had to really pay attention to our stops! We got to the city of Tremadog around 10:00 pm. When Kelly was booking our hostel, they told her they lock the doors at 10:00 pm, but they would arrange for someone to come pick us up at the train station. This is SO unusual for a hostel to offer to pick their guests up at the station! We were a little scared because all we knew was that a guy named Karl would be waiting for us in the parking lot at night....haha. But it ended up working perfectly - since the town is so small, he was the only person in the parking lot :). It was a really short drive to the hostel, and we fell in love with it right away! The hosts were warm and inviting, and the hostel was really cute and decorated. Our room had 8 beds in it, and there was nobody else in the room with us, which was nice. We all stayed up until 1 am talking and laughing....I hope we didn't disturb our neighbors!
