Home again
We left the hostel today around 10:00 am and explored the city for a few hours. It was actually sad leaving the hostel! We thanked the hosts over and over for their generous hospitality and kindness - it was a wonderful experience for my first hostel, although I have a feeling I've been spoiled and I'm going to expect the rest of them to be this good :).
For lunch, we decided to just go into a grocery store and grab sandwiches and fruit. We had a little picnic right outside of the train station as we waited for our noon train. Kelly pulled out her video camera (which she has at all times) and filmed us eating and being crazy. We pretended to be a band and gave ourselves a name ("Stellar Snowdonian Six" , haha) - we filmed interviews and acted out band drama....basically, we had too much free time! I was really glad that we all got along so well and bonded so much on this trip! We all agreed that this was the best trip ever.
One of the many "band" pictures we took (minus Kelly):

On the train ride home, we did homework! Haha, I was very impressed with us. There was a man sitting near us who smelled really bad, so Sarah opened an orange and we all took turns passing around the orange peelings and smelling them - it seemed to work! :) We were trying not to laugh as we were sticking the pieces of orange on our noses, but I'm sure people around us thought we were really strange....

We got back to Oxford around 6:00 pm, and it actually felt like home! I couldn't believe the relief I felt when I walked through the front door. We had such a great trip, but we were really exhausted from all the traveling.
There was just enough time to relax before our Nine at Nine devo. I remember this night - it was so emotional! We were asked to share with the group anything weighing on our hearts....we were all crying by the end! I asked for prayers for my cousin John. The devo is only supposed to last an hour, but it lasted until midnight this time.

I've been enjoying reading your adventures and looking at your pics. :) John will be glad to know he's in your thoughts. Be safe and I'll see ya before too long.
Yer Cuz,
Andy
